ABOUT OUR PROGRAM

The Envision Evolution Center for Equilibrium Coach Education program was fully accredited by ICF as an ACTP, Accredited Coach Training Provider, in 2021 and thoroughly prepares learners to increase their personal and professional effectiveness and engage with life in an empowered fashion. The program has completed the ICF transition process and has been awarded the Level 2 training provider designation. This is a one-of-kind hybrid program that offers multiple tracks simultaneously. Whether participants are completing the leadership development only track, Foundations coach certification track, or Advanced coaching certification track, this program serves all three types of learners. We have discovered critical insights from COVID and have adapted our learning approach to incorporate that new knowledge. What we have observed is that learning improves exponentially in the setting of a diverse population. Isolating coaching students is somewhat less effective than creating a learning space that brings a “real-world” advantage of a cross-section of learners from a variety of industries and functional roles. This is a tremendous advantage to our program. We now know:

  1. Our graduates are consistently expressing personal and professional transformation from our programs.

  2. The path to leadership mastery requires mastering personal Equilibrium.

  3. The core competencies adopted by the ICF are exceptionally valuable to every human being and are worthy of adoption.

  4. Learning to manage Equilibrium offers restoration even when the world seems to be out of control.

  5. Practical application of the newly acquired knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors ensure they become more deeply embedded.

Our rigorous standards set students up for success on their coaching and leadership journeys and for those seeking certification, it thoroughly equips them. Upon successful completion of all graduation requirements, certification students will receive the designation as a Certified Equilibrium Coach and will become a VIP affiliate member of our Alumni Association. The program includes 125 hours of coach training with 65 hours of synchronous contact and 60 hours of asynchronous learning. This was established in 2020 including a 50/50 split between synchronous and asynchronous learning in response to the COVID-19 policy.

LANGUAGE: The course is only available in English at the current time.

DELIVERY METHOD/TRAINING TRACKS:

  • Foundations of Coaching Track (60 hours) - Level 1 accreditation: final exam CEP - credentialing exam prep; 7 hours group mentoring/3 hours private mentoring

TRANSFER OF CREDIT:

Transfer of credit will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are always considering an equitable solution for students, as in many cases, they have already made a substantial financial investment in their education. Typically, we allow for a tuition credit for transfer courses, but invite students to audit the training necessary to bring them current with the rest of the cohort. Our primary objective is that every graduate completes the program in its entirety so no one will be at any disadvantage, while remaining sensitive to each person's circumstances and their financial investments to date.

Since our graduates are certified as Equilibrium Coaches, that carries with it an additional layer of expertise that will ensure graduates understand how to administer an Equilibrium Human Effectiveness Assessment, how to interpret the results, how to conduct a debrief, and leverage the results to partner with the client in the development plan they wish to move forward. Equilibrium consistently demonstrates coaching ROI and provides evidence of development in the specific areas the client has chosen to work on. Our graduates are rigorously trained not only in ICF coaching competencies, but also in Equilibrium mastery. The Equilibrium System is in alignment with Systemic Team Coaching and supports graduates to use a systemic lens through which to interpret the world.

ATTENDANCE COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENT

We ask for a commitment to the full length of the training. An ICF ACTP program requires at least 125 hours of training. Your participation is essential for the group dynamic, and your team members depend on you as a valuable part of the learning experience. We understand emergencies come up, but for anything other than an emergency, we strongly advise you do not miss. There are no make-up sessions and you are responsible for any time you miss. The program has very limited cushion for missed sessions before it impacts the amount of credit you can be awarded. If you must make up sessions beyond the maximum, private make-up sessions are available at a rate of $250.00 per session.

In order to honor our contractual agreement with ICF (International Coaching Federation), and maintain our program accreditation, we are bound to carefully execute the duties of an accredited training provider. Part of those duties include validation and records of attendance and participation for each participant. We can only award hours of training for which you actually completed based on your attendance. Please contact us if you have any questions about this requirement. It is a requirement we have no authority to waive. Thank you for understanding the importance of this issue, as the stringent compliance serves to validate the credentialing process and ensure the integrity and credibility of our profession.

PARTIAL CREDIT

If you are not able to complete either the full 125-hour Advanced CEC program or the 60-hour foundations program, you will be provided with a certificate of the number of training hours completed toward your program. While no refunds are offered, you may always join up with another cohort and come back to audit the program at no additional fee for up to one year from the date you left the program. Upon completion of all graduation requirements, you will be awarded either the CEC Program Certification (for the 124-hour program) or the Coaching Foundations Certificate (for the 60-hour program).

OUR PHILOSOPHY OF COACH TRAINING

Our philosophy is embedded in our name and informs all we do. We hold out an abiding faith that envisioning a desired future serves to inspire and drive transformational change. Life is an ever-evolving process and we can navigate those evolutions more successfully through intentionally envisioning what we want. Our passion is to train coaches to the highest standards using Brain-targeted learning to facilitate the perpetual flow of new generations of Envision Evolution Coaches. We believe transformational coaching is a means to make the world a better place, one conversation at a time. Paradoxically, we recognize the current state of our world does not afford the luxury of moving that slowly. Equilibrium applies a systemic lens which informs our program and encourages adoption of a systemic approach to coaching. We see every individual we impact as nested within every other system within our global ecosystem.

We believe coach training programs should be academically rigorous, designed in accordance with brain-targeted methodology, and incorporate all of our Six Pillars. The Envision Evolution Six Pillars distinguish our program as deeply rooted in a solid theoretical framework that produces graduates who are well-rounded, grounded individuals who have been thoroughly prepared both personally and professionally, with the academic foundation upon which to build a reputable coaching practice as wholly integrated coaches with a fuller understanding of what it means to be human.

  1. Includes thorough personal groundwork and focused intention to raising self-awareness, increasing emotional intelligence, and elevating level of consciousness.

  2. Training in the historical foundations of coaching and the modalities that gave rise to the fundamental beliefs and shaped best practices for the coaching profession.

  3. An evidence-based holistic approach that considers and integrates entire being (mind, body, spirit) and is delivered using a brain-targeted approach.

  4. Research-based information from behavioral neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, and psychology within a framework that upholds ICF standards, while allowing for diverse coaching techniques, tools, and application methodologies.

  5. Immersion into learning dialogues, application, teaching back, and real-time mentoring and feedback to accelerate and reinforce learning.

  6. Business training, application, and support both throughout the program and beyond graduation, as graduates are invited into our internship program.

The Envision Evolution Certification Program has been developed using some of the latest studies from behavioral and cognitive neuroscience. The term “neuroscience” has been showing up more and more in coaching and training circles, but how does one separate the truth from hype? The Envision Evolution program will not overreach or present common misconceptions as fact. We will be presenting only evidence-based findings from validated research. We designed this course using the Brain-Targeted learning model which incorporates Dimensions of Learning, Multiple Intelligences, and Bloom’s Taxonomy.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

We updated and aligned our new Guiding Principles to the 2021 ICF (International Coaching Federation) Core Competencies. ICF is the credentialing and oversight authority regulating the coaching industry, and we acknowledge and honor all of their standards. The Envision Evolution Guiding Principles serve as reminders that intentionally infusing these principles in our daily practices, will ensure we are honoring the core competencies and upholding the code of ethics of our profession at all times.

  1. Every person possesses fundamental equality, dignity, uniqueness and intrinsic worth and we embrace this truth as a core value. We will act with integrity and responsibility in all of our interactions to honor this value.

  2. People possess personal freedoms balanced by personal responsibility, and we honor that as we keep clients’ needs central, support them in making their own choices, continue to expand our self-awareness, upgrade our technical coaching skills, and, remain open, curious, and flexible.

  3. It is our responsibility to partner with clients to establish solid agreements in every coaching engagement, as the agreement serves as the basis for everything else that follows, unless it is the express intention of the client to deviate.

  4. It is our sacred duty to serve as a vessel to hold the client’s work in the session and remain completely present, attentive, and responsive.

  5. Every client needs to be deeply understood and we will engage in listening at a deep, holistic level that connects all of who we are to all of who the client is, while integrating past, present, and future.

  6. Everything we do, say, or offer is an intervention in the service of evoking awareness for the client.

  7. Our actions should always support client autonomy, transformation, and integration of mind, body, and spirit.

MENTORING

Mentoring is intended to accelerate coaching mastery for a less experienced practitioner. A mentor should be a master coach with extensive expertise in the ICF competencies and the PCC Markers, and should be trained in best practices for mentor program delivery. The mentoring can combine coaching, advising, guided assistance in refining coaching skills and or technique, and providing feedback. The ICF (International Coaching Federation) requires 10 hours of mentor coaching as part of any ACTP Program, to fulfill the certification pre-requisites.
